Oh it's been forever since I last wrote. Spring has finally arrived. There is still a little snow on the north side of our house, so that means the front yard. I did a little spring clean up in the back yard and that involved pooper scooping after Stuart and picking up some fallen twigs from the lawn and flowerbeds. I can hardly wait until it is a little warmer to really get out there to rake and dig up the garden. I'm so excited.
But to get more in the spring mood I started planting some herb seeds in a seeding tray. But I got carried away and planted some other things too.
Cilantro
Sweet Basil
Oregano
Lime Basil
Zucchini
Cucumber
Bacheolor's Buttons
Lavatera
Nasturtium
Little Blue Peppers
I don't know if I have my timing right for some of these plants but that's part of the reason I'm writing. It will become a record and I can keep track of how they grow and my planting timing, etc.
Anyway, I'm happy to just get the show on the road. I know I'll still buy a load of stuff and there are still seeds I have to plant straight into the garden on the May long weekend, but I'm happy to start.
