A Fun Weekend

This weekend was a pretty jam packed weekend of activity.    Yesterday (Saturday) I worked over at FMC/ACH, my least favorite site.    But the day went by so quickly and I really had a good day, even though I did have to do the pager sheet audit.    Yesterday evening I went to Holly's stagette in Okotoks.   It was a good time.   There weren't too many people there so I'm glad I went to show my support etc.

I was lucky enough to have Jonathan drive me there and back.   That meant for the first time in a long, long time I was able to just relax and have a few drinks.     So then I had a lot to drink.   Pretty funny really.    I was pretty plastered to say the least.   Luckily I wasn't the least bit sick or hung over this morning.   how lucky can I get?

This morning I took Jillian and Jacob to the Farmer's Market and we had a little bit of a lunch there that was really good.   We bought a couple of things there too and had an enjoyable time.

Then we went to McKenzie Town and ordered Randy an edible arrangement which they will deliver tomorrow sometime during the day.     Then off to the grocery store to buy a few things for the BBQ.   Uncle Wally came over and we cooked up a storm.   I must say, that was the best dinner in a long time.   Jillian and I made a avocado dip that we tasted at the Farmer's Market.    I think our version was very close ... perhaps not enough onions but very tasty all the same.

The weather all day was beautiful and we spent all evening outside enjoying it.    Tomorrow will be a little busy but Jillian and I have planned to start the day with a long walk.    I've got to get as much training in as possible.     I think I've started a little late with the training but better late than never.

Tuesday is an awards day at Jacob's school.    He says he is getting an award.   I wonder what it is?    I'm not going to work so I can go to it.     Then school is pretty much over for him.    Jillian is all finished.   She has one or two things to do to get ready for Nursing ... but we still aren't sure if she has been accepted into the program.   It's the waiting and wondering that is really, really tough.    I know it's driving me crazy ... I can just imagine what it is doing to her.
